Have you ever noticed that when you become angry, you feel your face get hot and your heart begin to race? Maybe you've discovered that a fluttering heart and ticklish feeling in your stomach only happens when you are really excited about something happening. When

we learn to listen to our body, we find that it gives us amazing clues about how we are really feeling inside. Understanding those clues gives us the ability to be in control of our emotions, and that means that we have the ability to make the best choices, no matter what is happening around us.

In this week's stories, we will hear about characters that are learning to listen to their body's clues about how they feel. As you listen, notice how their own awareness helps them make kind and safe choices, even when their emotions are not happy ones.

Throughout the week, make understanding emotions your goal. Think about what's happening in your head and heart and then realize how those emotions are making your body feel. Learning these feelings are a great way to gain control of your feelings and become the masters of your own choices. I can't wait to hear about what you have learned!
